This fact isn't sad solely because people have died. This fact is sad because most of these people have been forgotten. My name is Tom Lumbis and I've lived in Readsboro for twenty-five years. Last year I began recording the names on the grave stones in our cemeteries. I'm far from completing this task but I believe it's important that a written record exist. As daunting as this project is, it is only half of a larger project I've begun. My hope is to compile a book of memories, your memories, of those who have passed on and been laid to rest in Readsboro and who are still remembered and missed.
